MEP Awards 2025 - new mandate, new awards, new venue
Nominations are now open for the MEP Awards 2025. To view the categories and to start nominating click here.
Every year, The Parliament magazine recognises and celebrates the hard work and policy accomplishments of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), their Assistants (APAs), and Parliament Staff by presenting awards to honour their outstanding achievements.
This year, as newly elected Members of the European Parliament embark on their first year of the mandate and returning MEPs continue their dedicated service, the celebration will be a sit-down gala dinner, offering the opportunity to network with over 250 EU decision-makers.
Our 21st awards edition this year not only marks the beginning of a new parliamentary term but also recognises those, both new and re-elected, whose contributions over the past year and beyond have inspired us all and will continue to have a lasting impact on the EU.

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Brussels
We are delighted that The Parliament MEP Awards 2025 ceremony will be held at the prestigious Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
For many MEPs, particularly those new to Brussels, this venue will provide a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in Belgium’s rich artistic heritage—a luxury often missed due to their demanding schedules.
Your host for the MEP Awards 2025
Quaestor Marc Angel (S&D, Luxembourg)
Marc Angel is a Luxembourgish Member and Quaestor of the European Parliament, previously also serving as Vice-President. He joined the EP after decades of public service, first as Member of the Luxembourg City Council (1994 - 2020), then as Member of the Luxembourg Parliament (2004 - 2019).
As an S&D MEP, he focuses on key issues such as social justice and labour rights, while he is also a highly recognized advocate of LGBTIQ+ rights. With a strong commitment to ensuring equitable opportunities for all, Mr Angel promotes fair wages, gender equality and works towards a Europe that is socially inclusive and economically resilient.
