Every year, The Parliament magazine recognises and celebrates the hard work and policy accomplishments of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), their Assistants (APAs), and Parliament Staff by presenting awards to honour their outstanding achievements.

This year, as newly elected Members of the European Parliament embark on their first year of the mandate and returning MEPs continue their dedicated service, the celebration will be a sit-down gala dinner, offering the opportunity to network with over 250 EU decision-makers.

Our 21st awards edition this year not only marks the beginning of a new parliamentary term but also recognises those, both new and re-elected, whose contributions over the past year and beyond have inspired us all and will continue to have a lasting impact on the EU.

Attracting hundreds of MEPs, Commission staff, Parliamentary staff, ambassadors, embassy staff and other stakeholders, the MEP Awards hosts one of the largest gatherings of influential figures across Europe, outside of the Parliament building itself.

The event is an unmissable opportunity to foster meaningful connections, drive progress, and encourage collaboration.

New venue for 2025

Our new venue for 2025, The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, offers an exceptional setting for the MEP Awards, perfectly aligning with the event’s prestige and significance.

For many MEPs, particularly those new to Brussels, this venue provides a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in Belgium’s rich artistic heritage – a luxury often missed due to their demanding schedules.

Hosting the awards at this renowned cultural landmark not only elevates the ceremony but also allows guests to experience one of Brussels’ most celebrated institutions, adding an extra layer of distinction to the evening.

The cocktail reception and dinner will take place in the Forum, which, with its breathtaking neo-classical architecture, offers a magical setting.
