For the 2024 awards, only three categories were open for public nominations, namely:

  • APA of the Mandate

  • Staffer Outstanding Contribution to Parliament

The shortlisted nominees will be announced in early February 2024.

APA of the Mandate

Awarded to an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant (APA) who has demonstrated a real commitment to assist politicians in making good policy. We will be not only looking for those who have worked on the biggest files, but also those who have a proven track record of facilitating discussions amongst stakeholders, who have gone the extra mile to unearth fact, figures and human stories to shape the best policy.

MEP of the Mandate

Awarded to an MEP who has gone above and beyond in their duties during the 9th parliamentary term. This Award will recognise hard work, dedication, innovation, and integrity for the duration of the mandate. It’s not just the Rapporteur on the biggest files we will be looking for, but true dedication to the institutions.

Staffer Outstanding Contribution to Parliament

Given to a member of staff who has dedicated their career to supporting the European Parliament. This Award seeks to recognise those who work behind the scenes powering Parliament.
